わたしたちは、今、想像をすることを休んでいませんか？
ここで言う想像とは、空想でも妄想でもありません。
ひとりひとりが今を見つめ、主体的に自らの「あした」をイメージしてみる、という現実的なことです。
gallery fuとLAUNCHPAD GALLERYが共同で開催する本展覧会は、
23名のアーティストたちが、研ぎ澄まされた感性をもって現実を直視し、
生命、自然、政治、社会、環境などさまざまなテーマから「あした」を描き出します。
作品に込められたアーティストのメッセージを受け止め、
あらためて自分自身の「あした」を想像してください。
想像をするということは、絶望もありますが、希望をもつことでもあります。
わたしたちが、想像をすることの自由さと大切さを失わないことを願いこの展覧会を企画いたします。

What have you been imagining lately? Not daydreams or delusions , but rather, serious contemplation of our current reality and fostering an independent vision for what the future holds.
galley fu and LAUNCH PAD GALLERY proudly present this joint exhibition featuring more than 20 artists who share their visions of the “future” based on various themes such as Life, Nature, Politics, Society and the Environment. By utilising their unique sharpened sensibilities to gaze upon today’s realities we aim to create an environment for the viewer to delve into the artists imaginations.
Of course, we hope this stimulates your own imagination as well by feeling the messages the artists put into their work. This may lead you to feelings of despair or hope, awaken a call to action or indifference. Either way we should never relinquish the freedom and importance of each individual's ability to imagine.
