この展示では、現在興味を持っている公的／私的、昼／夜、一人／連帯などの象徴や符号を扱った、私の最新作から写真と動画を展示いたします。皆さんにもこれらについて興味を持っていただけたらうれしいです。

個展の中心になる作品は初公開となる映像作品「Daytime (Celebration)」です。この作品はロサンゼルス郊外で3ヶ月かけて撮影しました。公共空間の新解釈と可能性の提示として、街灯をスポットライトに駐車場をステージとして、夜間に撮影しました。

This exhibition features objects and pictures (still and moving) from my recent work. They contain symbols and codes that interest me at this time, including public/private, day/night, alone/together. I hope they interest you, too.

The centerpiece of this solo exhibition is the debut of my new video piece Daytime (Celebration). Daytime (Celebration) was filmed over three months in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California, USA. It was filmed exclusively in the night hours, using street lamps as spotlights and parking lots as stages that present new understandings and possibilities for public space.
